Album 11: UP

R.E.M.'s 11 album, and first without drummer Bill Berry, marked a departure from their earlier works. It was released in 1998 and has been cited as inspiration by the likes of Radiohead, even if it wasn't met with much critical success.

Album 10: New Adventures in Hi-Fi

Released in 1996 and recorded while on tour, New Adventures in Hi-Fi is what some people consider to be R.E.M.'s last "good" album.

Album 8: Automatic for the People

The group's 8th album was released in 1992 and was released with great critical and fan appraise. Rolling Stone gave the album 5 stars and it was nominated the Grammy for album of the year.
